Calling all local theatre artists!

Here’s the deal: being an artist in Ottawa isn’t easy. Finding work, funding, collaborators, and performing venues are hurdles we all face. (Hurdles that have certainly not been improved by the pandemic.)

So, how can we build connections and foster our arts community? Who can we rely on to support us? What barriers do we need to address so artists can thrive in Ottawa? Where do we even start?

Join Levity Theatre and Skeleton Key for the O-Town Artist Pop Up - A rally cry for local theatre artists to talk the talk so we can walk the walk!

Whether you’re an emerging or established artist, come on over to the Great Canadian Theatre Company on August 24th, 2023 to become a part of the discussion.

Doors open at 6:30pm - Organized activities from 7pm-8:30pm - Mix and Mingling until close

O-Town Artist Pop Up!

Neurodivergent Meet Up

Join us next week at Arts House Cafe for an evening of sips and chats!

Hosted by Levity Theatre, this get together is a chance for neurodivergent folks to meet new faces, share stories, and create a safe space for us to be our authentic selves.

As local queer and neurodiverse artists, we are interested in starting conversations with Ottawa community members to inform our art – both in practice and in content. With the goal of developing a new project about neurodiversity and grocery shopping, we hope to connect with folks like us to best represent the mosaic of neurodivergent experiences on local stages.

TLDR: Our stories deserve a platform and we want to hear from you!

RSVP either by sending us a DM or by emailing eve@levitytheatre.ca

JULY 26TH 2023 AT 7PM, ART HOUSE CAFÉ – hope to see you there!
